Oscilliscope Cursors
The cursors of the oscilliscope can be used to accurately measure the
period, frequency or peak-to-peak amplitude of a displayed waveform.
The screenshot above shows the cursors being used to measure the time
difference between two peaks of sinasoid. The result is 1kHz, which
matches the frequency of the signal from the function generator. The
other three channels are not connected in the current circuit design,
so they display as noise.
